It comes equipped with a guard rail and a 4-level mattress support. Save more when purchasing this crib since a free mattress is included! AFG Self-Expanding Deluxe Mattress is a foam mattress made from high-density foam and provides firm support for sleeping infants. High-density, water resistance, waterproof and non-allergenic. It is designed to fit any standard/full-size crib and toddler bed, this mattress ships compressed in a lightweight box that makes it super easy for anyone to carry. Once the box is opened and the mattress is removed from its protective packaging, the mattress will begin its expansion process. Please allow at least 48 hours for the mattress to fully expand (actual expansion times may vary). We recommend that customers remove all covers and place the mattress in a well-ventilated warm area for at least 48 hours. The mattress should be flipped occasionally to promote even expansion on all sides. If one side has not fully expanded then we suggest that customers “fluff” up the mattress like a pillow to stimulate more air flow.
